When the sun rises over the trees beyond the waters of Budd lake, light trickles through bay windows, glistens upon massive plants within a vaulted family room, and casts intricate shadows across the walls. Besides adding light to a room already filled with memories from travels throughout the world, the sun invites us to gaze back and see the early morning flowers within contoured trail laden gardens, competing with the olden oak trees for his earliest attention. Inimitable and unsullied, the home is a marriage of this regions original stone and cedar farm house and an augmentation creating an inviting and livable abode within. A brief meandering driveway provides adequate breadth for family and friends to depart their conveyance and share our lovingly diminutive world. Prominently displayed from the deck, waving to water craft below, are flags representing each of the countries we have traveled. Here, succulent foods are prepared upon a grill that may drape its marvelous odors upon the patio below. From the patio, a selection of stoned walkways could be taken, each offering a different assortment of plant life, or leading to the waters edge, or to a fountain spewing water over the heads of casted children.
We'd love to hear from you
